Cease: Teen steals plane.

||||||||| Catherwood tiptoes into the room, and snorts derisively "Announcing 'Beet', also known as 'Nancy' -- the time is 9:00 PM" -- then he slowly retires back into the Aviary...
Beet: Hope everyone is enjoying. Happy Thursday.
Cease: Beet
Beet: Hi, Dr Cease
DJTweeny: Hey Beet
Beet: Hi Dr Tween

Beet: Good
DJTweeny: I still have a frog firmly lodged in my throat, as you can hear
Beet: I didn't notice.
Cease: this is more from Fred's radio interview with Ossie.
||||||||| "Happy" Harry Cox pops in and say "I was right! Everything I knew WAS wrong! You CAN get "Profiles in Barbecue Sauce", chock full of meaty Firesign scripts!"
Cease: We should listen to the whole thing with all the guys some time in the new year
Beet: I vote "aye"
Cease: we'll have a lot of goodies in the new year as i plunder my vast collection of firesign stuff.
Beet: Plunder away
Cease: probably a hundred interviews.
Beet: wow
Cease: speaking of which, did you hear the interview Proc did last week on a podcast called Things I learned on the Internet
Beet: Is everyone else out plundering their eggnog?
DJTweeny: I have not
DJTweeny: apparently, Beet
Beet: Is that podcast readily available/
Cease: proc posted a link to it on facebook. aren't you friends with him there?
Beet: I never get notices. I had better check my status. I am not a big Facebook person.
Beet: I just sent a friend request to Phil Proctor page. Will that do it?
Cease: https://tunein.com/podcasts/Comedy-Podcasts/Things-I-Found-Online-p1089645/
DJTweeny: Should
Beet: Thanks
Cease: in today's PLanet Proctor, he speaks of starting a new podcast with Jamie again.
DJTweeny: kewl
Beet: I miss the boomers
Cease: ona Austin for an enchanting getaway on Fox Island, host Louise Palanker, for a stimulating appearance on “Things I Found on the Internet” [SEE MORE] ... Joan Allemand, Allison Barenbrug, Kenneth Wilhite, Jr., Melinda Peterson, and Ted Bonnitt, my partner in what we hope is a new podcast called “Phil & Ted’s Sexy Boomer Show!” Guests so far included Jamie Alcroft & Danny Mann, Larry Hankin & Paul Willson, Phyllis Katz & Rob Lewine and Anna Mathias & Alan Shearman... Set your ears for 2020. And congrats to my Cookie co-author, Brad Schreiber, on his latest opus, Music is Power. (More on this next year.)
Cease: Oona
Beet: Sounds great
Cease: this is from an intervview i participated in on a vancouver radio station in 96
Cease: it was a science fiction discussion show and for some reason the 3 people doing the show were ignorant of firesign theatre.
Rufus_T_Firetween: * Listen/Download Cat’s collage “OSSMAN COLLAGE GRADUATION” at >> http://kurtericson.com/cat/#FIRESIGN_AUDIO_BIOS
Cease: proc is as good as bergman for making things up spontaneously
Cease: thats why its so easy to make these collages.
Cease: there's me
Beet: Living in Houston, it was mandatory to be excited about the space program. It still gives me quite a charge.
DJTweeny: kewl :)
||||||||| Nick Danger sneaks in and whispers "Get the scuttlebutt on Box of Danger here, whatever that means..."
Cease: much better than being known as the capitol of the oilpocalypse
Beet: Yup
Beet: For a while we were working in a hotel downtown. If you looked out the window, the Exxon building was a block away in full view.
DJTweeny: Exxon is a helluva story
Beet: Scary organization.
DJTweeny: Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1016268/ << Great documentary about the rise & fall of Enron
DJTweeny: and yeah, scary
DJTweeny: will also make you angry
Beet: Before they fell, there was a big story on network TV about how the workers ay Enron were screwing everu=ybody and laughing about it. It wasn't too long after that that they were pulled down.
DJTweeny: The really screwed over the California energy industry
Rufus_T_Firetween: ** Thanks to RADIO FREE DISHNUTS for providing the streaming server for this show – http://dishnuts.net
Beet: The baseball stadium changed from Enron Field to Minute Maid Park
Cease: The Firesign or maybe just Bergman wrote a pretend opera based on the fall of enron
Beet: Enjoyed that, Cat.
Cease: its on the Fools in Space series.

Beet: Love Vice.
DJTweeny: They'd ask power plants to shut down so it would raise the price of electricty in California
||||||||| Mayor P'nisnose strides up to the podium and speaks: "My fellow Armenians, if you have questions about exorcism, buy the new book "EXORCISM IN YOUR DAILY LIFE", now on sale. Incidentally, so is my vote."
Cease: should be Brown, not Brown's
Beet: Vince. I guess I have a fondness for some vice also.
DJTweeny: It cost Californians billions
Cease: My last play was about Vince. Tween played his record executive
Beet: One of the pieces in the expose was about how they were routing energy in California and caused blackouts andd bilked customers of billions
Cease: Maybe the best thing about Christmas for me is hearing these Vince tunes everywhere
DJTweeny: That was fun, Cat
Cease: pussy catty
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 10 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
Rufus_T_Firetween: ** Listen/Download Cat’s collage “A CHARLIE FIRESIGN CHRISTMAS” at >> http://kurtericson.com/cat/#COLLAGES
Cease: this is my first mix of firesign and peanuts, but maybe not my last.
DJTweeny: They go well with FST
Cease: Schulz is meaner than Firesign but they're both cerebral and hilarious.
Beet: The great music always lended a special angle on the stories.
Cease: true
Cease: I wonder where everyone is tonight?
Beet: Good question.
Beet: They're missing some good stuff.
DJTweeny: If they were in Austin, they might have frozen. We've had record cold the last couple of nights
DJTweeny: They are indeed, Beet
Beet: What is the temperature?
DJTweeny: This one is going to be a Christmas staple :)
Cease: Ive been thinking of mixing Peanuts and Firesign for a while and this seemed the perfect vehicle.
DJTweeny: a few degrees below freezing, but that's way cold for this part of Texas
DJTweeny: It is
Beet: Any precipitation?
Cease: 2 inches of rain in vancouver today
Beet: 20 degrees here.
Rufus_T_Firetween: No, luckily, but we're supposed to get rain tomorrow as things warm up a bit
Rufus_T_Firetween: 20 is nippy
Beet: Just putting the clothes on is a major project.
DJTweeny: 47 here at the moment going down to 42
DJTweeny: that's more like it
Beet: This makes me want to watch these Charlie Browns again.
DJTweeny: Yeah, I've been wearing thermal underware and several layers of clothing
DJTweeny: They are classic Peanuts, for sure
Cease: 54 years now
DJTweeny: wow, hard to imagine
Beet: I knew this guy in the service who deliberately picked unattractive women because he said they treated him like a king.
Beet: If any of our female compatriots were here I wouldn't even be able to report that.
Beet: Is that Orson?
Cease: yes. from a firesign radio show.
Beet: cool
DJTweeny: LOL this is great
DJTweeny: "You won't have Nixon to smite around anymore..."
||||||||| Bill Sprawl pokes his head in through the window and shouts "MARCHING TO SHIBBOLETH! Click to order!"
Beet: I'm very much liking this collage.
Cease: me too.
DJTweeny: Very nice work, Cat :)
Beet: Fantastic

DJTweeny: Maybe I'll ask Phil to include a short note about us in his newsletter
Cease: there is so much great firestuff i think a lot of people would like to hear.
DJTweeny: You bet
Beet: it is a little odd with just three guys.
||||||||| Chick Lambert fades in and says: "I have no idea who this Friedstein Theatre is, but they 're honing in on my territory over at Duke of Madness Motors. Give 'em the what for, Storm!" "RUFF! RUFF!"
DJTweeny: They're missing out
Beet: This is a really great show.

||||||||| At 10:56 PM, Cease vanishes mysteriously -- just as Nino the Mind Boggler predicted!
||||||||| Outside, the 10:59 PM bus from Florida pulls away, leaving llanwydd coughing in a cloud of diesel fumes.
llanwydd: hope there is still somebody here
llanwydd: I swear I forgot
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 11 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
llanwydd: but I got here before 11
llanwydd: still here, tweeny and beet
llanwydd: well, somebody call me on my shoe phone next week
DJTweeny: Hey llan
||||||||| llanwydd leaves at 11:02 PM, singing "Oh, I'm just a little fishy, floating in the sea, and there ain't no hook that's smart enough to catch the likes of me..."
||||||||| Catherwood enters with llanwydd close behind, grumbles something about disrupting his 11:02 PM tree-stunting plans, and hurries off to the vestibule.
llanwydd: hi tween
llanwydd: what was the show tonight?
llanwydd: cat collage for sure but what FS album?
llanwydd: well I better shift mah organs
||||||||| "11:05 PM? I'm late!" exclaims llanwydd, who then scurries out through the french doors and down through the brambles.
||||||||| It's 11:25 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
