DJTweeny: "MARCHING TO SHIBBOLETH reproduces both of Firesign's Big Books, originally published in 1972 and 1974 by Straight Arrow. Packed with photos, explanatory prefaces, collages, and the weirdly cool typography typical of High Seventies Style, these must-have script collections at one stroke put to rest any question of just what these guys were saying on all those records and stoked new, unending arguments about just What It All Meant (and simultaneously deployed a hysterical, historical motherlode of theatrical lore guaranteed to trump anyone at a Booth or Barrymore family picnic)."
||||||||| Worker steals in around 9:34 PM, trying to avoid Catherwood because of last month's "unpleasant incident."

DJTweeny: What's her name?
Residualecho: She's got a merit badge in overhand
Beet: Do you tie each other up?
DJTweeny: heheh
Residualecho: Oops, sitting on the golden lasso of truth. No wonder
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : Yes, echo, it is! All i had to do was transpose it to the key of C minus!
Residualecho: I suppose the other half of the key is C plus plus?
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : Well, yes, but to explain the musical theory of it, i would need n easel & a laser pointer
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : Or i had to split it with the sound guy
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : The key
Residualecho: Wow, it smells like a Laserium in here.

Residualecho: Cat and I were talking about a Quad mix of Bozos today
Cease: indeed
Residualecho: I was looking for a decent image of the cover of Bozos
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : An official quad release?
Residualecho: and stumbled across a page which uses bittorrents to distribute digitized quad mixes from vinyl
Residualecho: There are unspeakable acts I would consider performing for an official multichannel release
DJTweeny: Cease: will get the link for this to you, tween. it was from a podcast of a UK paper. << please do
DJTweeny: lol RE
Cease: you think it can be done, echo?
Residualecho: I have no idea what they do to make quad vinyl decipherable on a basic home theater 5.1 setup.
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : Interesting, RE, such as, for instance, for example...
DJTweeny: I have quad vinyl from the 70s
DJTweeny: My Dad had a Kenwood quad stereo system
Residualecho: How did you set up your speakers? one in each of the four corners of the room and you sit in the middle?
Beet: I have a copy of the 4-Track 8-track
Cease: https://drcarlhart.com/
DJTweeny: Yes, 4 corners of the living room
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : Looks like a 4 channel tape of some format would be easier, more reliable
DJTweeny: and of course a quad-capable phono cartridge
Beet: 4-Channel 8-Track
Rufus_T_Firetween: ** Watch the Firesign Theatre Youtube Channel at >> https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXdhVqpbttKSvBWGWHSBkgw/videos?shelf_id=0&view=0&sort=dd
Johan Amadeus Myjetski : But djt, the quad phonograph requires a moon rock needle, & we haven’t been back to the moon...
Residualecho: I never learned what was different about a quad phono cartridge, because quad vinyl was supposed to play a stereo version just fine
DJTweeny: Steve Martin has a bit about a googlephonic stereo with a moon rock needle :)
Beet: I was looking at used 4-channel 8-traack systems fantasizing of actually hearing it again. Not too expensive actually.
DJTweeny: I'm not sure about the mechanics of it either
Cease: i had a copy of Pretzel Logic I played on my parents 4-chan system.
Cease: Amazing
Residualecho: That's it, the moon rocks! Those moon rocks have been earthbound for almost 50 years!
DJTweeny: I'll bet
