Firechief: br>

My fellow settlers! We stand here on the Edge O’ Civilization on the banks of the Mississippi River, lookin’ West, at our Destiny!

Firechief:

. . . is, in reality,

a Golden Opportunity for humble,

God-fearin’ people like ourselves,

an’ our families,
an’ our children, an’ the generations a-comin’,

to carve a new life

-- outta the American Indian!

Firechief:

Injuns!

Draw the wagons up in a circle!

We get better reception that way!

Do you mind if I put this antenne up on yonder peak?

This ia our Sacred Antenna!

It’s shaped like a cross!

Made out of aluminium.

Er -- got any aluminium?

||||||||| Firechief leaves at 6:38 AM, singing "Oh, I'm just a little fishy, floating in the sea, and there ain't no hook that's smart enough to catch the likes of me..."

Merlyn: let's not split heirs cat
ArmaTweeno: Still nothing here

Bambi: hope it's not Vista
H. Stones: lol
securitybreach: Stones: just install Linux
H. Stones: i may be mad Bambi but i sure as hell am not crazy
Bambi: LOL :-)
cease: this was the introduction of george tirebiter, who has taken on a life of his own since then, even has a facebook page
cease: not insane, eh?
Bambi: George Tirebiter even ran for political office ;-)
cease: as it were
H. Stones: its a very fast dual core machine with sata drives and good video rendering but the sound card is not up to my demanding standards
H. Stones: once a hife buff, always a hifi buff
cease: ossman has made a career of inventing a backstory for george
Bambi: heard that Stones
Bambi: might need to install a new sound card, but if it's Win7, make sure you get one that is 'guaranteed' to work with Win7 (free tip to keep you from going looney trying to make an old one work)
H. Stones: the download speeds are exceptional though, thirty seconds to download a full high end CD
Bambi: can't complain about that LOL
Bambi is green!
securitybreach: 700mb in 30 seconds? nice
H. Stones: yes not bad at all
securitybreach: I thought my 9mb/s connection was good
H. Stones: i have a couple of soundblasters i can try and a pro, emu which will probably work
Bambi: check the compatibility list ... trust me on this
H. Stones: on skype i could hear Honey just fine but she couldnt hear me and it looks like a cheap and nasty blaster and my hi fi mic could hardly be heard
H. Stones: calling honey now
securitybreach: eat it raw!!! lol
Bambi: there's a fix for that ... do a search on google for mic not working skype
Bambi: I haven't had that problem when I install skype for folks so far, but have read about it
cease: listen to enough firesign, you'll lol yourself to death
securitybreach: ok
||||||||| Catherwood stumbles in and pipes up "Presenting 'anwy', just granted probation at 9:35 PM", then leaves hurriedly.

Bambi: heard that they had it up late due to some technical stuff
cease: i wonder who "they" are, tween?
anwy: so dwarf is on. would anyone give me the most recent line?
cease: yeah bergman posted about it on facebook, which is devolving to be our source for all firesign news

H. Stones: need to reboot back soon i hope
Bambi: ok Stones
||||||||| 9:42 PM -- H. Stones left for parts unknown.   (Entry from Nick Danger's "Idiots I Have Been Paid To Follow").
anwy: silverberg won't go over pork chop hill
cease: angerdream. in the original version it was methedrine. i wonder why they changed it
cease: not unless it leads to valentine's castle, llan
anwy: hey tween, were you ever able to listen to that cd I sent you?
anwy: I can't believe we're the only ones here
Bambi: many may be depressed over what today is
anwy: oh, yes
||||||||| Catherwood accompanies Dave & Katie into the room, accepts three dimes as a gratuity, grumbles something about 9:48 PM, then departs.
Merlyn: hey dave
Bambi: hey Dave & Katie
anwy: any time I'm depressed on a thursday, I come right out of it when I come in here
anwy: not that that happens often
cease: well well, its a dog and a boy
anwy: Hey Hey D & K
cease: sounds like a harlan ellison story
||||||||| Catherwood stumbles in and announces "Presenting 'ah,clem', just granted probation at 9:49 PM", then leaves hurriedly.
Bambi: LOL
Bambi: hey ClemQ
Bambi: Clem!
ah,clem: hi all
||||||||| It's 9:50 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
||||||||| ArmaTweeno - dead from measles
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
anwy: I'm not as familiar with ellison as you are
cease: hi ah
Dave & Katie : hi there, had to configure a plugin in firefox but I'm here, how's?
ah,clem: hey Dave!
Bambi: Tween dead from measles ...
anwy: I have read Repent Harlequin and Must Scream.
ah,clem: oh, he will get better
cease: one of his stories is called a boy and his dog, which was made into a flick in the 70s
anwy: you know the full titles I'm sure
Bambi: no really good diseases like The Plague?
Dave & Katie : please don't scream, I don't like screams
cease: my robert silverberg joke went unnoticed so his contemporary ellison at least has a following here
anwy: as you wish, dave
||||||||| With a theatrical clearing of his throat, Catherwood announces: "9:51 PM and late as usual, it's Bunnyboy, just back from Billville."
Bunnyboy: yoda
Dave & Katie : turns out I didn't get into grad schools I applied for, so I'm getting a masters in musicology here at boulder, which is nice, I already know how to get around.
: Hey Dave! Been a while...
anwy: Hey BB
cease: i have no mouth but i must scream, famous harlan ellison story, dave
Bambi: I love Robert Silverberg's books
||||||||| Catherwood leads ArmaTweeno into the room, accepts a jar of pennies as a gratuity, grumbles something about 9:52 PM, then departs.
Bambi: hey Bunny
Dave & Katie : hey bunny!
cease: a friend of the firesigns. i know proctor has worked with him, maybe others too
cease: hi bun
Bunnyboy: Harlan! Great doc - DREAMS WITH SHARP TEETH.
Bambi: wb from recovery of the measles Tween
ArmaTweeno: Hi Bun
Bunnyboy: lo Tween!
anwy: wb tween
cease: very good indeed, bun
cease: but do you think it would be a good intro to him, bun? if you dont know his work?
Bambi: I love that snake knives lol
Bunnyboy: Just 'cause he's ornery doesn't mean he
Bunnyboy: Excuse me...
ArmaTweeno: El crasho
Bunnyboy: Just 'cause he's ornery doesn't mean he's not *right*...
cease: are you back, tween?
Bunnyboy: I think DREAMS is fabulous, and would serve to spark interest in his writing.
cease: i'm very proud to have been in an anthology with him, krassner's first
Bunnyboy: "I Have No Mouth, And I Must Scream" is pretty potent.
Dave & Katie : I would love to read "the realist"
cease: krassner is wonderful
anwy: I'm not the least bit familiar with krassner
Dave & Katie : is he still around? I wonder if I can get any of his work from NLS or something.
cease: paul krassner started a magazine called the realist in the 50s when he was working for both mad and an investigative new york political mag
cease: he combined them to form The Realist in i think, 59
||||||||| New CNI streaming notice: 'Bozos'
cease: yes dave, i am in touch with him. in fact, he reoriented my new play.
cease: i'll ask him whatever you like.
anwy: I thought I knew all the mad names. never saw any of krassner's work
cease: very early days, anw
cease: the book you'll want to read is his autobiography, dave.
Dave & Katie : well Cat would you mind asking him if he has any of his work in audio or has been asked by the library of congress to have any of it narrated for us nonsighted, lacking in sight, oversighted, erm, blinded ones who need the lord's healing to see the tunnel at the end of the light?
||||||||| It's 10:00 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
||||||||| ArmaTweeno - dead from the common cold
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
||||||||| Principalpoop enters at 10:00 PM as Catherwood takes their hat and goat and scurries off to the Hat Pack Annex.
cease: will do, dave
Principalpoop: are we all bozo's on this bus?
Bambi: common cold ... how ordinary ;-)
Bambi: hey Princep
Bambi: absolutely princep
||||||||| ArmaTweeno sneaks in around 10:00 PM, trying to avoid Catherwood because of last week's "unpleasant incident."
anwy: Hey Prnip
cease: if it isnt an audiobook, i'[l lbe surprised. he has a number of comedy cds and loves to talk
Principalpoop: oh blinding light, the light that blinds, can you describe it for me dave?
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 10 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
Principalpoop: hi bambi, how are you?
Principalpoop: hi tweeno
Bambi: hanging in their for an 4-15
Principalpoop: tap tap
ArmaTweeno: Hey P
Principalpoop: and then you have 5-1
Bambi: wb Tween ... glad to see you recovered from the common cold that did you in this time
anwy: anybody know what's up with dex tonight?
Principalpoop: thanks ahhh, clem
Dave & Katie : lets all go run into the brick wall over there!
ArmaTweeno: Trying a different browser
Dave & Katie : yeah I was wondering where he was, I had a question to ask him too.
Principalpoop: meet you on the other side of the wall
Bambi: yes, that too Princep
Bambi: didn't Dex say he would be away tonight?
Bambi: or am I remembering another week lol
Principalpoop: this land is made of browsers
Dave & Katie : don't wait gang! there's still time to put another brick in the wall before the world ends, and they change the water
Bambi: or bowsers
Principalpoop: that water is heavy man
Dave & Katie : this land is made of plugs!
cease: we're goin, inside
Principalpoop: this land has lots of everything, oops wrong album
Merlyn: for me and elmer suggs
Bambi: sure seems like it if you talk to electric companies wanting to build new coal plants
cease: i just noticed some more meanings for that line
Principalpoop: it takes millions of years to make coal, how can it be new?
Dave & Katie : doing lines again eh cat?
cease: lol. again?
Principalpoop: whats my line? hehe
Dave & Katie : still? in the still of the knight
Principalpoop: Ben Stiller and Ben Over
ah,clem: hope Tween is paying attention
ah,clem: as I played this for him
ArmaTweeno: Merci :-)
Principalpoop: figuring out his bowser
Bambi: LOL
Principalpoop: thank yoooou
ah,clem: and you 2
Principalpoop: one of the catfish's balls is the sun?
Bambi: yes, for us all ... but Tween was the inspiration for playing this tonight I think
ArmaTweeno: Some uncomplicated peoples ;)
ah,clem: yes
ArmaTweeno: JL and I were having a discussion about these lines the other day
Principalpoop: thank you tween
ArmaTweeno: It's a great segment
Bunnyboy: No Fong?
ah,clem: classic FST
ArmaTweeno: Indeed
anwy: I was just asking about dex a moment ago
Principalpoop: oysterettes
ah,clem: "and sit down on his own stool"
cease: on sunday, dex said he woulndt be here tonight
Dave & Katie : too hard to listen to speech synth and fst at the same time unfortunately. yeah I can hear a lot at once but have to process it all too ya know
ArmaTweeno: His sanitary pedestal?
Bambi: in 1865 today, Abraham Lincoln passed away without regaining consciousness after being shot the previous evening
ah,clem: well, Dave you know Bozos by heart, so just roll with chat
Principalpoop: he did not in vain, he died in washington dc
ArmaTweeno: I suspect that could get a bit confusing, Dave
cease: hi poop
ArmaTweeno: Do you have one of those braille tablet thingies?
Bambi: figures they'd choose today for tax day... another travasty
ah,clem: we are at the astrolabe
Principalpoop: too late cat, bambi already handled that chore anyway
Dave & Katie : I am fortunate to have a recording of a man who was 80 at the time it was made, in 1930, and it is his recounting of lincoln's assasination, he was a boy and was there when it happened. some of it isn't precisely accurate but it's fascinating to hear.
anwy: anybody want coffee?
cease: its never a chore to greet you, poop
ah,clem: np, Bam and I are on the same team anyway
ArmaTweeno: Lincoln was assassinated on the 14th, I do believe
Dave & Katie : as to the braille display, yes I have a notetaker that can double as a braille display, but it's supposed to be showing services that the pc can use, but in the windows bluetooth thing there are no services listed so I'm not sure what to do to connect it
Principalpoop: cool dave, kidding cat, sure ahh, clem, not anwy
Principalpoop: shot on the 14th in the evening, died the next morning
anwy: they ought to clone lincoln
Dave & Katie : and booth shortly thereafter, the history has a really cool and detailed account of the events
ah,clem: bet is is fascinating to hear Dave
ArmaTweeno: Any ideas Bambi (about the braille pad)?
cease: ossman seems oddly fond of lincoln town cars
Principalpoop: those are nice rides
ArmaTweeno: They did. Disney animatronics
Dave & Katie : you would have to take all the cement out of his burial ground to do that, he's 10 feet down under concrete
ah,clem: low rider?
cease: mr. president in this album evolved from the presidents in disneyland, orignally in the ny worlds fair
Bambi: Apple should do a braille ipad
anwy: do you know there is an actual photograph of john quincy adams. I have actually seen it
ArmaTweeno: That's where I saw it, at the NYC WF in '64
Bambi: or at least a screen reader ipad
anwy: I was fascinated to see a photo of such an early president
ArmaTweeno: I bet it'd be amazing
cease: me too, tween, at the illinois pavilion
ArmaTweeno: You should write them and suggest it, Dave
cease: indeed, tween
ArmaTweeno: Imagine a braille iPad
Dave & Katie : voiceover is on the ipod touch and the iphone, but I don't have the money for either
Dave & Katie : I am going to be buying a braille display and a netbook or a full laptop when I graduate in a few weeks, I hope.
Bambi: heard that dave
Bambi: they really have a voiceover for it?
cease: what do you plan to do after graduation, dave?
Bunnyboy: Wow. I must have been sleeping the last 35 years or so. First time I caught the Shoes for Industry and Terminal Bus lines on BOZOS.
Dave & Katie : ylol it's the name of mac's screen reader which comes standard on all macs now, I know several blind folks who have macs now because of it.
Principalpoop: cut the soles off his shoes, sit in a tree and learn to play the flute
cease: i think he already knows how to play the flute, poop
Principalpoop: not the skinflute hehe
Dave & Katie : I'm getting a masters in musicology here at Boulder, cat. another two years here and then supposedly into a phd program, so basically being a pro student lol.
Bunnyboy: (sings) She plays my olde skinflute...
cease: yeah i did that too, dave, only i was teaching while studying.
Principalpoop: i was in college for as long as possible, about 10 credits away from 10 different majors...
ArmaTweeno: Very cool, Dave
Dave & Katie : also applied for a library of congress internship for this summer, really really hoping I get it since there are some sound recordings related projects. if that doesn't happen, i'm thinking of starting my thesis work this summer, or at least the prelim stages of it
ArmaTweeno: Draft age, eh, P?
ArmaTweeno: That's great, Dave
Principalpoop: i was after the draft, just afraid, correctly, of the real world
cease: drive is important at your age, dave. at my age, it would be considered a form of madness
anwy: catherwood, what time is it in ticonderoga?
||||||||| Catherwood says "It's 10:27 PM"
Dave & Katie : I don't like just sitting around doing nothing, I know plenty of blind people that do, the stat used to be that 80 percent of blind people were unemployed, I don't know if that's changed or not in the last decade, but still, damn. I may be unemployed but I'm having a good time and learning a lot lol
Principalpoop: tell me your thesis david and I will write and antithesis
anwy: thanks, cathy
ArmaTweeno: Hell no, cease :-)
Dave & Katie : well thanks gang, i'm trying, I have a lot of drive because it's what I love to do.
Dave & Katie : my thesis is that there isn't a thesis to my thesis. there, now do your magic.
Bambi: awesome Dave! Great thing to do if you can...
cease: e=mc fields
Principalpoop: no thesis is to thesis as music is to one hand clapping
cease: i'm not suggesting sloth. i'm as busy now as i've been in decades
Principalpoop: i promote sloth and approve of it
Dave & Katie : ah the kodokahn, if I spelt that even close. those sorts of questions would drive me insane
cease: i got 3 vids in the mail to austin this afternoon, and spent the rest of the afternoon working on the new project
anwy: sdfghjkl;
Principalpoop: i promote insanity and approve of it
Dave & Katie : hello I'm a sloth promoter, it's a slow business
ArmaTweeno: Kewl, cease
ArmaTweeno: lol
Principalpoop: yes dave, my sloth business is slow
cease: i might put some of it on youtube but its more austin-centric for now
anwy: ertyui
Dave & Katie : the tortuise and the....wait what were we doing?
anwy: got mail. brb
Principalpoop: we have infiltrated by an ashakerbadian
cease: kind of his whole careern, from his duckman single to his recent appearances on bergman's aborted web show a couple of weeks ago, as a narrative to video of our city's new museum of anthropology
Principalpoop: hare?
cease: another cascade of firesign as soundtrack to vid i shot over the olympics
Bunnyboy: Well, Bunnette mowed the lawn. I better feed her. Nitey!
cease: by bun
Principalpoop: hip hop bunny
ArmaTweeno: Later, Bun
Bunnyboy: cat: Aborted? RFO down the tubes?
Dave & Katie : wow a woman with a lawnmoer, eek! danger will robinson!
cease: asa asunday show, bun.
cease: supposed to be daily from next week.
Bunnyboy: Well, yeah, heard that.
cease: on facebook, bergman said both proc and austin would be contributing to the new show
Bunnyboy: Will it be AMERICATHON? ; )
Dave & Katie : no fst albums planned? sad face
Bunnyboy: Who makes albums anymore?
cease: in 67, a large number of young people woujld tune in to krla to hear bergman and the other guy
Dave & Katie : *sings* I'm just a part of a cult, oh yeeeeeeeeeah, hip hip, square!
cease: it was a destination show. as were hour hour, df, lets eat, probably others
||||||||| Around 10:36 PM, Bunnyboy walks off into the sunset...
cease: beforfe that, jack benny, and many others from that era
cease: the new show sounds more like contact provision than an actual radio show
Merlyn: hey, seeya next week
Dave & Katie : yaaaaaaaaaaay jack benny! one of my idols
Principalpoop: night M,
||||||||| Merlyn leaves at 10:37 PM, singing "Oh, I'm just a little fishy, floating in the sea, and there ain't no hook that's smart enough to catch the likes of me..."
Dave & Katie : are they all four getting together cat? or just two of them?
cease: ossman has a show called radio, any questions. in it, he riffs on walking outside and hearing the same radio show coming out of every house
cease: it was amos and andy
cease: ossman and bergman were together for the first 3 shows, just bergman this week. i dont know about the new show, but it doesnt sound like a show, just content
cease: autin and proc will supply more content
Principalpoop: i am content
Dave & Katie : they used to say that when Bob Wills would play on the radio in Texas, you could walk down the street and hear it from almost everyone on the block. but yes, same with a&a, i love old radio.
cease: its no longer winter, poop
||||||||| It's 10:40 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
||||||||| anwy - dead from dengue fever
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
cease: that was the hwole ponit about american graffitti and wolfman jack
Principalpoop: if the summer changes to winter, yours is no disgrace
ArmaTweeno loves Western Swing
cease: when i first started driving in la, i heard the same songs coming from all the cars
Dave & Katie : have choir concert this weekend, and need to get better at two songs, have to memorize a ton of latin because I can't bring my music up onstage it's too bulky in hardcopy braille. that's tomorrow's goal
cease: back when your car only had a radio
Dave & Katie : when iI started driving in CO, I heard the same screams coming from all the other cars
cease: lol dave
ArmaTweeno: lol Dave
Principalpoop: let katie drive
Principalpoop: i hear new stuff every time, wonderful
ArmaTweeno: "If you don't like my driving, get off the sidewalk"
Principalpoop: it is the future ahh, clem
Dave & Katie : glad yall found that humorous, and katie would drive only if there were food for her. we let her and one of the other guide dogs loose today in the disabilities services office and hallway, boy they had fun. Katie is still sleeping off all the running.
Principalpoop: sweet
Principalpoop: nice analysis ahh, clem
cease: indeed, poop
cease: good for katie, dave
Principalpoop: toad away
ArmaTweeno: Thanks, Mr. Clem :-)
Principalpoop: i would say just mouth the words dave, but that is not possible in latin I think
Bambi: thanks Clem! :-)
Principalpoop: yes thank you and and thank you bambi
Dave & Katie : i can mouth the vowels though, but I really do want to learn this properly, they have the music and I have the ability to do this.
Dave & Katie : I am getting tired, been a long busy day
Principalpoop: good luck at the concert, and woof woof katie
ah,clem: nytol
||||||||| 10:49 PM -- ah,clem left for parts unknown.   (Entry from Nick Danger's "Idiots I Have Been Paid To Follow").
||||||||| Catherwood says "10:50 PM, time for SOMEONE to leave!", grabs securitybreach by the collar and gives 'em the old bum's rush out the door
Principalpoop: nice product placement there ahhh, clem
cease: by security. hope to see you again
Principalpoop: for latin music, I prefer Santana
Principalpoop: a choir singing, oy como va
cease: indeed, poop
Principalpoop: classical music is too strong for me, how dare they present those emotions so strongly and clearly?
Principalpoop: seems like everybody is tired, i will jump on the bus too, have a super week
||||||||| At 10:58 PM, Principalpoop vanishes mysteriously -- just as Nino the Mind Boggler predicted!
Bambi: hooked on classics ... or bohemian rhapsody :-)
||||||||| It's 11:00 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
||||||||| ArmaTweeno - dead from pneumonia
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
||||||||| Catherwood enters the room, strikes a gong, and bellows "THE TIME IN NEW YORK IS 11 O'CLOCK", then silently exits.
||||||||| Dexter Fong tiptoes in around 11:05 PM, trying to avoid Catherwood because of last week's "unpleasant incident."
Dexter Fong: Hi guys
cease: Dex!
Dexter Fong: Looks like I got here just in time
cease: you made it before it all dissappeared
Dexter Fong: Yeah barely
Dexter Fong: How are you
cease: i dont know if its plural anymore, dex. i was just private messaging to dave and the dog
Dave & Katie : hey dex, I have a jazz question for you
Dexter Fong: Shoot
cease: i got 3 vids in the mail to austin this late afternooon, after shooting new show at the bill reid gallery and having a wondrous piece of halibut at myfave restaurant and getting an interesting book out of the library. who's to complain?
Dave & Katie : hi dex, how are you?
Dexter Fong: Sounds good
Dexter Fong: Okay Dave What's the Question
cease: halibut season, like blackberry season, one of the best things of the year.
Dave & Katie : dex, the kind of Blue album was released with the tape machine recording a bit too fast on the first three songs, so the pitch is sharp. they corrected this only in 1991 when they issued it on CD for the second time. am I correct in this information?
cease: did you hear bergman's rap about blackberry's on last week's rfo? maybe only good thing on it
Dexter Fong: Dave:Sounds correct Dave but I'm not absolutely sure
Dexter Fong: Yeah I did cat..and it's true the shows are certainly not in the Dear Friends class
Dave & Katie : are they in the cherrished friends class?
cease: or even the Fools in Space class. far far far from it
Dexter Fong: Dave: More like the Nice try guys, but get it together, please
cease: when i met bergman in january, he sounded so committed to getting this show on and getting an audience for it
cease: i was overly optmistic about the audience he'd reach, but there had to be more of a show for there to be an audience at all
Dexter Fong: Is he now doing it every night?
cease: on facebook today, he said he was recording stuff in the studio for it
cease: and earlier, said proc and austin would be delivering content, but as i said earlier, it sounds like all content, no show
Dexter Fong: I'd think it highly unlikely they could ever do a weekly show again, but even two hours once a month with all four of them together in one place would be great
cease: yeah fools in space was a great venue
cease: they could swear and everything
cease: i tried to get them something like that at air america, but you know what happend to them
Dexter Fong: They could swear on the internet can't they?
cease: the rfo thing, yeah, but who cares?
Dexter Fong: who cares as it stands now, or cares period?
cease: period. the internet is built on porn and viagra ads. who cares if someone says fuck on a podcast
Dexter Fong: Oh, I thought you meant no one would listen
cease: whereas bergman lost one of the old ozzes by saying, "get you hands up the skirt of a toyota and you'll really turn on"
cease: that too, dex
cease: they have always loved being lenny bruce/george carlin for smart people in that sense
Dexter Fong: Well, at least they're touring the left coast
cease: when they make enough money, they'll be on your doorstep, dex. just like me
Dexter Fong: heh
Dexter Fong: Wonder if *they'll* take me out to dinner
cease: only if YOU're paying
Dexter Fong: yeah =
Dexter Fong: my smiley disappeared
Dexter Fong: \
Bambi: hey Dex
Dave & Katie : yay smart comedy!
Dexter Fong: Hi Bambi
cease: but i'll see you this fall, inshallah, and they'll probably be in nyc in a couple of years. thats what austin said when he was last here
Dexter Fong: How are you?
Dexter Fong: That's cause Austin has to drive across the country
Bambi: doing ok and you?
cease: it doesnt take him that long, dex.
Dexter Fong: Oh, as weel as could be expected
cease: but they are financing everything themselves these days, or so i last heard.
Dexter Fong: Cat: He has to walk the dogs a lot
cease: no managment to get gigs for them, print tickets, do promo, et al
cease: he loves walking dogs. its doing everything else that may be conflicted
Dexter Fong: I wish some rich dude would like take an interest in them
cease: fuck, merl would know but he's long gone.
cease: like a turkety through the, uh.
Dexter Fong: straw?
Dave & Katie : alright I think i'm gonna call it a night, can't see if my eyes keep closing, night gang
cease: cone, i think. sonny and terry tune
Dexter Fong: Night Dave and kepp on woofing Katie
cease: how would you konw if they were closed, dave?
||||||||| Dave & Katie leaves to catch the 11:27 PM train to Boulder.
cease: hopefully i'll have good krassnews for you soon
Bambi: nytol! :-)
Dexter Fong: Well, it's late enough here
Dexter Fong: Night bambi
Bambi: be well till we meet again
||||||||| Bambi leaves to catch the 11:28 PM train to New Jersey.
Dexter Fong: Checking out now Cat, will prolly stop in Sunday night just to see
Dexter Fong: Oh,,..Cat
cease: ok dex
Dexter Fong: Checked the Box of D again the Danger rarities, and the only thing on the cd I sent you not in the box, are 2 Daily Feed shows
cease: i have the daily feed
cease: so thats everything, great
Dexter Fong: Okat then, see you sunday or thursday ....or both
cease: great. bye
||||||||| 11:31 PM -- cease left for parts unknown.   (Entry from Nick Danger's "Idiots I Have Been Paid To Follow").
||||||||| It's 11:40 PM, and that means it's time to play BEAT THE REAPER! And here's how our contestants did:
||||||||| Dexter Fong - dead from measles
||||||||| Better luck next time! And now, back to our chatroom, which is already in progress...
||||||||| Catherwood enters, and announces to all and sundry "It's 4:32 AM, time to change the log file and clean out unused rooms; please exit the chat room for a minute or two. Thank you for your patience."
